It's not just you, ESPN apparently isn't doing a game recap anymore and Keim has moved to podcasts for the in-depth review. Weak.

At least I have the Athletic, they have plenty of coverage on the Skins.

I feel the need to say it one more time: One of the worst trades ever! Bill O'Brien is a horrible GM and he can't coach either. How in the world does O'Brien still have a job in pro football? His continuing employment is proof that Snyder is not the dumbest owner in the NFL.

Re: Philly postgame week 1

At halftime, with his squad trailing an NFC East rival 17-7, Rivera received an IV treatment. That left halftime speech duties to someone else. Haskins filled the void.

“Apparently, Dwayne stepped up, and it was a pretty (raucous) one from what I understand,” Rivera said after winning his Washington coaching debut.

“Very encouraging,” cornerback Jimmy Moreland said. “It made us feel like we’ve got to support (Dwayne). He’s (the) quarterback of our team. He’s the leader of our team. When he stepped up and said that it made us feel like we’ve got to get behind him.”

That is great to hear

This shows how much Haskins has grown from day 1 - who remember the clip where Haskins begged the Oline to tell him what to do? Now, Haskins needs to show the progress on the field too.

Getting to the playoffs has probably put off the inevitable. But that's largely talent related than coaching if you ask me. Imagine what RR or McVay could do with that roster...

He will.

He progressed even within the Week 1 game too, compare his stats in the second half to the bad first half.

Dwayne knows he has a cannon arm and takes a lot of risks he shouldn't with that arm...so he'll always make some ugly mistakes, but I also think the number of incredible throws he makes will continue to increase.

He and McLaurin are going to be something very special to watch over their careers.

He's also capable of making a few plays with his legs, which he's not really been known for. I can't help thinking that's not an ability thing, more that he hasn't needed to before. He's no Dan Marino at least, as the running game goes.

^^ this tweet video is of our 1st TD to TE Logan, showing how he got so wide open. Pre snap we put our lone left outside WR in motion, which causes the D to shift, leaving one D man lined up on Thomas. But at snap our RB breaks out wide and the D man goes to cover the RB (I guess thinking he stillhad help) and lets Logan run right by him for an easy TD. I imagine if the D guy had stayed on Logan, haskins has an easy pitch to the RB.

Well designed, forcing the D to shuffle right before snap then forcing a D guy to make a decision. Haskins reads the decision and makes an easy toss either way.

^^ 2 mins of film on Wentz last 4 throws of the 1st half. on these throws, he had time and guys open just inaccurate or late.

4 Eagles defenders shifted left with the pre-snap motion. That's bad discipline but I also hope it shows how all of the motion we'veiIncorporated is going to work all season.

You and me both. I'm just not a podcast guy.
