This would be only way. Ray is another often injured guy...so I'm sure we'll get him.

Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread

I agree , I don't understand why it's not already retired or is it?

Also

Per Keim

Doug Williams says QB is still in play for the Redskins, and he says there are lot of options. Moving up or moving back at 15 as well as a later round passer

Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread

Anyone else think we should look at Bryce Callahan? It would save a pick on a CB, and just leave starting FS to firm up. Think he'd work well with Dunbar and Norman (assuming we don't let Norman go).

I think the Redskins don't retire numbers but there are some numbers they won't give out. Number 21 is one of those numbers.

That was my thought when I posted about Ray. I had the same thought about possibly signing Wisniewski. Both of them might become stop-gaps but the idea is to only sign them to team-friendly short-term contracts.

Problem is Bruce driving the car and says, we don't have time to stop again (trades draft pick for broken 31-year old AJ Green)....tells you to eat 6-month stale Funyuns (UDFA) off the floorboard while you shit your pants (Ray, injured out for year second game)

This metaphor has officially jumped the shark.

Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread

Matt Khalil was cut by the Panthers after 2 injury riddle years, I would sign him as a backup, Khalil at one time was considered to be the next great T. Would be a nice replacement for the Nsekhe loss. Bashaud Breeland is available, I would sign him on the cheap.

What's the latest on Josh Johnson?....does the Redskins front office feels he's worthy of a 3rd string gig ?

If ST's family gives their blessing I'm ok with him wearing 21.
