Who knows? There are always mid-round picks that succeed.

They get a late 3rd for KC

Will Grier is my choice right now

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Tyree Jackson is a horrible passer though. I bet he doesn't go until the 5th or 6th unless he had a GREAT combine

#WVU QB Will Grier will not participate in the 2018 Camping World Bowl vs #Syracuse and will focus on his preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Our guy (well My guy) is not taking any chances on injury.

What I'd like to know is why haven't we signed a QB off someone's practice squad with an eye on next year? Is there really nobody out there we had a draft grade on or are possibly interested in at all?? Even as a camp arm? Bueller?

We need to get past KC, he's already been gone a whole season. Good luck to him, I like the guy but to be honest we really haven't missed him all that much in the W/L Column, Viks are basically the same as we are.

Amen to that. He's sucking it up for the Vikings now, it was obviously a lose-lose situation last offseason and we made the best of it.

Now we get to reap the rewards, we get a 3rd rounder for a guy causing problems for another team on the field and hogging the cap off the field.

Let's turn that 3rd rounder into something useful, like an impact player or part of a trade to get an impact player.

Re: Not drafting a QB a mistake?

His fumble against the Seahawks that went back for the TD was the most Kirk Cousins thing he could have done. Tantalizing ability to pass the ball, underrated mobility, but ultimately gives the ball up too much and at the wrong time, thus putting your team's ceiling at 10-6 and a playoff exit no later than the division round.

Time to move on. We miss him but we shouldn't have paid him $84M guaranteed. Both sides lost, us and the Vikes. Have to let it go.

Don't we get a pick still?
