Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
This is what it came down too, not Haslett. Without those forced fumbles, I bet Dallas sticks with the run late. And with them averaging well over 7 yards per carry, it's quite likely they would have scored. Meriweather and Breeland were hustling all game. Huge difference makers.
But like I said before, props to Haslett for his blitzes. |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
And WTF is up with these refs? In all seriousness, I think these effing zebras have it out for us. Bastards.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about anyone. Ive read so far today about Breeland not being that good, trading Garcon, trading Almo, the refs suck. They did but who gives a shit. FU Dallas! HTTR!

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
The ESPN crew was definitely laughing at the idea of the Skins winning when they were doing their picks.

The media feeds the BS though. How may time did we get a glimpse of ol' Jerrah last night? A dozen or so? How many times have you ever heard an owner interviewed mid-game? Never. What a joke. And our owner is the laughingstock. SMH

What I saw was a reporter (who apparently had been told no for an interview) GRAB McCoy and essentially kidnap him into an interview. Look at the guy, he has his arm around McCoy holding onto him. And Wylie was the one being unprofessional? |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Exactly. Those guys were playing their asses off last night. Tackling was crisp, they forced some turnovers, for the most part they covered well, got some sacks. If the offense in the first half had their shit together that could've got ugly quick.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Thanks guys for the answer on the rules question with the link backing it up. I thought it had to do with the "attempt" to get up and get out of the end zone, was obviously wrong.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
Yes, thank you. I felt the same way Yellow31 did... the attempt to get out changed all that.
Obviously not quite the case. |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
from PFT link:
"... It’s a strange rule. One team acquires possession of the ball in its own end zone, loses possession of the ball while in their own end zone, but suffers no consequence when the fumbled ball goes out of the end zone. ..." Not only no consequence is suffered, but you get the ball at the 20 :\ |

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
So what if McCoy comes out like gangbusters against Minnesota and we roll these fools?? I know he started off slow but really played a nice second half with no damn turnovers.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game
It will be interesting to see if they start RGIII. Will be tempting to sit him and give another 2 weeks to heal. But if he's ready?
