Junk numbers late in the game are the only reason he has a QB rating over 50.

If there was ever a time when stats don't tell the story it's RG3's first two games. Right now, RG3 is a good fantasy QB, that's about it. When the game was competitive, and we needed first downs in the first half, he could not deliver, he could not keep up with Aaron Rodgers.

Honestly though other than Manning right now who can?

Haven't seen their games. But we don't really need to compare the two. Brees has a resume that speaks for itself.

Honestly, I was expecting RG3 to play a game similar to what Colin K. did last week. GB does not have a good defense and we could not get a first down or score til the game was out of hand. Our offense is pitiful right now and the defense is even worse.

Right, but I easily believe Shanny and Bruce would take that 18 mil per and use it wisely to bring in talent at RT, ILB, CB and Saftey. They made choices based on their situation. I dont think the difference would be that great with who they have vs market available at similar price. Issues would still remain imo. With out the cap penalty those I listed above would not be here this year imo.

By time that started happening it looked like the defense were either gassed or gave up. I think that was right around the 3rd start of the 3rd quarter.

I do agree on that, and what has happened to our run game???

With signings like Meriweather and Josh Morgan, what could go wrong with more money to spend?

Looks like we're becoming a pass first team, which when your OL stinks (at least the right side) and your QB is gimpy, doesn't exactly bode well.

Talk about getting away from Redskins culture. We used to pound the ball to set up the pass, looks like it may start switching the other way around. Which would be okay, so long as we had a consistently decent pass game, which we don't yet.

2 year deals for average players. I didnt like Meriweather, but better than we had and didnt have any injury history like he has now. Morgan didnt have a horrible year last year, and at the time again better than we had. These arent Archeleta and Bradon Lloyd/Randal El deals. Both over paid vs their production sure but not grossly.

It's a 18 million per year handicap for the most over rated defensive player all-time, Albert Hanyesworth.

It hasnt been an easy build, with no draft picks and cap penalties.
Shhhh... Don't feed him. Gtripp is like the monkey at the zoo. He's fun to watch, but eventually he starts eating his own shit and flinging it around at you.
