Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Skins 20-14. I will be watching with 2 Giants fans so I hope it will be a good game for the Burgundy and Gold.

What was Daseal's quote? Something like "apparently not having unrelenting optimism means you're not a fan..." If there were no "traitors" on this site, it would be a pretty boring place. You'd have a bunch of blind sychophants picking us to go 19-0 and win the whole thing every year. I mean really, how dare any of us think we won't win every game??? For the record I think Zorn will be a very good coach, but I think we're going to have some real struggles this year, especially early on.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I will say this... if I had to name one team that had the overall personalities that would be prone to suffer from a SB hangover, it would probably have to be the giants... since coughlin came to coach, they've been inconsistent...(not that we've been any better) mixing amazing performances with abysmal half-assed streaks
if we see the "uninspired" giants they won't stand a chance...

I'm going to try to be objective here:

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
Nothing's pathetic about being a realist.
Nobody craps on people homering out and saying the Skins are going to win like... 60 - 3. Why crap on the people who may think the game will be tight, but the Skins might not eek it out?

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
As usual, you are a geyser of optimism.
I don't think you really believe the score will be so lopsided. I'm so confident that you don't believe your own words that I'd like to make a bet with you. You think the Redskins will lose by 23 points. I'll spot you 6 points. If the G-men win by 17 or more points, you get to make my sig. If the G-men fail to win by at least 17 points, I get to make your sig. The loser must keep that sig up for 8 weeks, or half the season. |

Do you have any plans for Irish's sig yet (since I don't even believe the Giants are going to win by that much) or are you keeping that under wraps?
