Re: Breaking Bad Season 5

For some reason I keep hoping Walter does something to redeem himself. I guess he kind of did with his call to Skyler at the end pretty much absolving her of any involvement. Looks like there's no hope for his relationship with Jesse though. It's all crashing down now... so depressing.

My guess from the flash-forward from the season premiere is that Walt finds out Jesse is now a meth-slave and he goes to rescue him Rambo style. Maybe that's his attempt to redeem himself?

Then again, he did admit to Jesse that he watched Jane die and did nothing. So...

I don't know why he would have a change of heart when it comes to Jesse but who knows... Pretty crazy that with only 2 episodes left we still have no clue how it's going to end.

Its two days after, and I'm still not over what happened in that last episode.

As least Hank went out like a boss... My name is ASAC Schrader, and you can go f—k yourself.

Yup. Love the way that was done. Walt begging and pleading and Hank just being a man.

It's the little secret that no one wants to admit. We're all cheering for WW hoping he figures out a way to make everything right. Gilligan is really putting that to the test in these last episodes though. He might succeed where David Chase (Sopranos) never could and get us all to finally hate the main character.

As far as the episode though I don't know how a better episode of any show will ever be made.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5

So does Walter go down guns blazing? Looks like he's intent on leaving his mark somehow. It can't all be for nothing.

Gotta think that he takes down Uncle Jack and company.

What does he do with Jesse?

What does he do with the ricin?

What does he do with his money now that it's apparent his family wants nothing to do with him?

I still say Walt JR goes down as the shocker to the final.

It is hard for me to grasp Todd as the bad guy I still picture him as the geeky kid from FNL; whose character I loved.
