I think lack of it on the Republican side is a bigger danger to the American people.

I think this segment has something to offer for both sides.

I hope you're not telling him to shut up and kick the football. Because that would be so so bad, based on a similar comment made about a player in a different sport.

Maybe he should stick to sports since that's the go to response most of the time right?

I'd cut him, no kicker is worth the bad publicity headache.

I think it's:

If you say something I agree with: Yeah, that's awesome, new favorite player.

Don't agree with: STFU and stick to sports.

In general, not specific to one side or another (and only parts of each side). I'd rather athletes do their politics off-mic, no matter the opinion. Because even if you agree, you will then have to hear from the other 50% about the same issue. Then it's a back and forth shitshow.

I'm definitely not, I actually really enjoy when players I previously respected for their talents decide to get ballsy enough to spout their anti-female/anti-gay views in public knowing the backlash they are gonna receive.

He's just next on a decent sized list of athletes who are very talented but also very stupid off the field.

Obviously he can say whatever he wants but my personal opinion is there has to be a way to celebrate your religion without disparaging others. I am sure there are plenty of things to like about catholicism.
