I'd love to see Cooley, Moss for a quality RT or something like that...we need players, not picks. And I read some article suggesting that Cedric Griffin is likely going to stay because Barnes is out...boy I sure hope that isn't true...he has sucked bad

Redskins trade CB Kevin Barnes to Lions [this post has been updated] - The Insider - The Washington Post

Barnes, who served as the team’s third cornerback last season, recording 26 tackles, two interceptions and four pass breakups in 15 games, was competing for the same role this season. But he apparently lost that position battle to seven-year veteran Cedric Griffin, who signed as a free agent during the offseason.

Welcome the new cornerback, same as the old cornerback.

Crompton and Monte Lewis on the same day? F this!!! They were robbed! I'm changing my allegiance to the Florida Tuskers, even if they are defunct.

Now maybe next year they can get rid of Grossman for another mid round young QB, or they could just get rid of him now and check the waver wire for the young QB now.

If Shanahan had to talk to Brown it can't be looking good for him

Re: Official Redskins First Cuts Thread

Aren't we still missing 1-2 last cuts? Or am I just not counting correct?

According to some of the ES insiders, he's actually being cut.

LL ‏@LL_HTTR247

If you are not a Brown fan you might be happy soon.

LL ‏@LL_HTTR247

J.Brown is on the books for $4.5 million but with a cut it goes to $1.1 for a savings of $3.4.

LL ‏@LL_HTTR247

JBs money comes back to bite us in 13 tho.. will still be on the books for $3.3 million.
