Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread
Hooper, Hentges, Sprinkle, please.
Hentges can take the top right off a defense just like Jason Witten with his uncanny 5.0+ second 40 time.

I imagine he wont be more than 3-5M. Only concern is injury history and availability. -------------------- Since we are talking TEs. I feel like we are all assuming Reed is going to retire but he is set to make 10.3M (1.8M signing bonus) and 8.75M in 2021. I guess if he retires and files that paper work, he gives up that 1.8M. Im torn, I loved his potential, he showed loyalty sigging that LTD ... but hes been paid handsomely by a per snap basis. I feel like the Skins dont owe him anything .. if anything in a moral and perfect world he would retire and forgo the 1.8M as a tip of the hat to Skins ... I guess we pay him the 1.8M and he retires or we pay him the 1.8M and cut him. Any chance at all we bring him back and roll the injury dice on a potential 10.3M cap hit? im guessing Reed doesnt retire, "stays on", forces us to cut him, he pockets 1.8m then goes and signs a 1 year deal with another team (with much of the money bonus-based dependent on him being on the active roster).

I'd rather kiss a toilet seat than have Vernon Davis back.

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread
It’s time to bring youth and talent back to TE. When are we going to learn that hiring the old, “ bandaid” players might get you a year but just as likely they’ll be hurt for most or all the season. Look how much we invested in Reed /Davis and neither one played!!
Go for the gold at TE and out bid for Hooper or Henry. Both guys are under 30 and will be great targets for Haskins. Draft a TE in the lower rounds and build for the future. No more bandaids or one year players. Build with a premium TE -we can afford it with all the guys we’re dumping, including Reed and Davis! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread
Thank god. They should cut Reed early in the process so the market grows a lil larger with him on the street.

I think Reed will also retire. If he tries to continue to play he risks damaging his health due to more concussions. CTE is no joke and the case of Aaron Hernandez is well known- he had a major case of CTE before his life descended into hell. If Reed decides to continue to play in the NFL, I don’t think the Redskins will resign him. He is too much of an injury risk after the last two years. He has so much potential but it means nothing if he can’t play in the regular season. I think that the big FA signing this season will be for TE. A big contract at this position will have the biggest impact for the team, for the money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Offseason Roster Moves Thread
With Kendall Fullers interception in the SB, it will cost more to bring him back. I thought we might sneak him back on the team but I guess that’s not happening.
I’m still amazed at how Andy Reid took Bruce Allen in the Alex Smith trade. Alex was going to be released anyway with Mahomes moving up. Yet, Reid played Bruce like a drum - getting a third round pick AND Kendall Fuller in the deal!! Fuller has an excellent final season with the Redskins. Andy Reid always played the Redskins for suckers, dumping Donovan McKnabb on us back in the day, AFTER he was washed up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
