Re: Around the League Week 1

Seeing the news that the fugitive has been caught and paraded for cameras in an Eagles shirt. Makes sense...

That was my pre-season usage. And he left a fat one over the plate, was tough to not use it there. I'm ready for the regular season now.

I believe you have to tip extra for a fat one over the plate

Around the League Week 1

I am just going to post this again. Extra 6 mil in cap space is always nice. We are set up real nice for this offseason. With an owner who knows how to win. Still can’t believe Im saying that.

Room to go after an FA OL? Risner is still unsigned. Maybe worth seeing whether Collins or Lewan can contribute? Or just keep the space in hand for injury cover? It would be dereliction of duty not to be at least looking at all short term upgrade possibilities for the OL, and probably LB. Though on the latter I'd like to see Hudson given more playing time.

Not seeing much trade rumour noise except for the obvious Jets QB situation 🤔

Agreed! Trade Brissett.

Re: Around the League Week 1

With the hits that Sam takes I wouldn’t trade JB unless it was a great offer.

Chances are pretty good JB is going to play at some point. Sorry but Fromm isn’t ready for prime time.

Re: Around the League Week 1

Think tonight could be a game. Eagles have some injuries and Minny won't wanna start 0-2. Fully expect Philly to win but wouldn't be surprised if Cousins and co. make it close. Love having NFL games Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. Pretty decent Thursday game as these can be clunkers at times.

Thank you for the fantasy lineup alert!

This isn’t going to be a popular take but my brain (not my heart) tells me we are not a playoff contender this year anyway. Im going all in on 2024. Would take any picks we can get for JB and the new owner having a full off season- loaded with cap space and more than likely a new HC.

I think we’re closer to being a playoff team than not. Especially if Sam can improve as the season goes on.

Hope so. If we are a playoff team this year and Sam proves to be the guy than put the league on notice in 2024. Sam isn’t even my concern. It is the oline, lb’s and staff.
