Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread

We aren’t unless we snatch an G or T in free agency. Than you draft another oline in second round. I would give up the corner whether it be in the draft/free agency because I think our dbacks are enough. Go after an ILB and Oline. Chase has a big ole bounce back year and the D is solid. Oline is fixed. Bingo Superbowl (just did a shot n a beer feelin rather optimistic). If Sam pans out and we got T-Rich in the wings it’s a problem I can deal with. |

Reality check...
Final week of season... 9 of 27 33.3% 2 weeks previous... 11 of 23 47.8% 2 weeks previous... 18 of 37 48.6% That is Anthony Richardson. No thank you under any circumstance.

Carolina must feel really strongly about one of these QBs. Wonder who it is. |

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Well done Chicago, presuming they get value from those picks. Jury will of course be out on Carolina until whoever they draft (my money would be on Young) proves themselves (or otherwise), but right now it seems too one sided a deal. And so they draft a QB; who's he going to throw to? They gave up picks and Moore in the deal so how do they provide that QB with targets?
Trying to remember the last true blockbuster trade that worked out great for one side, let alone both. 🤔 |

Leaves Colts in an interesting position, what if another team jumps up to the Cardinals pick just before the draft to get QB #3......

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Puts pressure on LV to trade up from 7 spot too. Atlanta and TB need a QB and have capital to move up to 3. Washington does too but I hope they don’t

Multiple NFL teams predict that no one will make an offer for #Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, according to
@JFowlerESPN Fowler says he talked to a number of NFL teams and none of them can see a team in the league making an offer for Lamar.

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Bears blow it again.
Typical. Justin Fields is not the answer, but Brice Young could've been. I'm assuming they could've gotten the #4 pick for Fields (although that's pure conjecture). If so (or even just #9), that's what I would've done. Get 2 years off paying the QB too.

I told my girl last night that a surprise team like San Fran, New England, Houston would emerge this weekend and make a serious offer.
