The o-line needs to be addressed for salary cap reasons. We have one lineman who is anything but above average at best, who can't stay healthy, isn't under contract long term. Both Ts free agents after next year, are above 30 then, and are average at best. We can't hand them new deals and keep DL intact. We got owned by teams with better DLs all year long, which is a HUGE reason we only beat one winning team. You draft BPA, you don't pigeonhole need. Our O was ATROCIOUS, but you can't fix everything in one year. It starts with QB, which we botched already. We should be improved, but at some point you need elite players on O, especially at LT, QB. |

Except that Moehrig isn't a prototypical FS. He's basically an athletic SS and certainly not a deep center fielder FS in NFL. No other safety warrants a 1st round pick.

I’ve heard a different opinion...I’d want a free safety tho.

Re: With the 19th Pick, the WFT selects....
I changed my mind about who the team will draft after learning that the team is talking to Collins about playing as LB. If we decide to move Collins to LB, which would make it difficult to justify drafting JOK (my original guess) who is generally similar to Collins in terms of size and ability to move around quicker. Don't get me wrong, I'm not comparing talents, just general.
I still believe we will target LB or Oline, whichever player with the highest grade on the board will be drafted. Although I'm still sticking with LB because I think all best Olines players will be gone by the time we pick so my guess it will be Jamin Davis or Zaven Collins. |

1. No QB. 2. No threat opposite McLaurin. Both have been addressed, and I am sure they are not done. As has been said already and exhaustively, there won't be any "elite" LTs on the board at 19. IMO, for both the long term and short term, the best and most impactful pick would be a LB or the FS, if they don't trade it. And Moehrig is projected to be a true game-changing FS. |

Please no trades up for a QB. So much to give up for a guy that's likely not even going to play this year if all goes according to plan.

I don't see it. I wouldn't be surprised if they took one in rounds 2-4, but not in the top 10.

No way NE trades up 4 to take a WR. I could see them trade with Carolina though even that seems unlikely.
