He has a motive... Is it to lose games to bench Haskins when he plays so bad or is he just tanking? It's one of the 2 because otherwise he's quitting on his players and I thought Ron was not that kind of guy.. This is a HUGE game for Haskins this week, clearly Ron is letting him know that he's on think ice.

Right now, way too early estimate...is the Redskins starting 2021 QB on the roster right now?

From what I see and hear...no

I don't think the Redskins 2020 QB is not on the roster because that team doesn't exist.

Okay in all seriousness, I think this is why you go with DH the whole season, so you can find out if he is the starting QB. I have no problem with RR doing his due diligence in this.

Ron doesn't need to have a quick hook because he's under no pressure to win this year and he is free to build for the long haul.
He didn't bring in Cam because he was obviously willing to give the owners pick a chance. Had he signed Cam it would have caused a media firestorm. It wasn't a good fit but he did bring in Cam's backup and gave up a draft pick to get him. That says a lot right there.

Exactly. He plays like a dry fart in church and that is definitely less obnoxious.
Seriously though there is a little sign of “we might have something here” when he does. Little sign, but it’s evident that those brief flashes are during hurry up. At least this year. I forget about last.

No The starting QB for 2021 is not on the roster right now. Couldn't tell you who it is going to be unless we get the 1'st pick in the 2021 draft but, hard to believe, there are worse teams out there now than us

13 games left and we're already talking 2021.

F

Haskins gets half the season unless he shows absolutely no progress whatsoever, or gets worse, in the next 2-3 games.

I really have a hard time believing, given Haskins mentality this year, that he isn't putting in the work necessary to get better. But Rivera will be the judge of that.

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?

We will have the first pick ... Struggling QB and a coach who is giving up trying to win late in game ... funny he uses injuries as excuse yet we are still getting hurt .. all the other turmoil behind the scenes.. if we win 3 games I’ll be shocked ...

The Jets and Giants have their shiny new QBs. Provided no one wants to pay a kings ransom to trade up to the first two picks, Lawrence will be there at 3 if we want him.
