Re: 2019 mlb
Should be a good WS I would have been happy with either match up but was pulling for the Astros and Braves. Astrid story gives me hope and I really wanted to see Nick Markakis get to the WS. I think the pitching match ups are going to be amazing in this series.

Re: 2019 mlb
The Nats just beat a pitcher that had won 16 straight starts, if that doesn't give a team confidence I don't know what would. Being on the East coast is nuts, the game ended just shy of midnight and only went 9 innings. I used to live in Cali where the games ended at a reasonable hour for someone who worked an early day shift job.

Re: 2019 mlb
Im an Os fan but I go to a Nats game once or twice a year. Really nice stadium.
I put 100 on the Nats to win at +215 so I would be invested in the excitement of the WS. |

I don’t see the Astro’s coming back from this. I think there will be a party in the district Sunday night

I'm taking the Mooby approach. One game at a time

Re: 2019 mlb
Same. Yankees were up 2-0 a few years back only to get swept in four straight games.
The sucky part is due to superstition I can't watch the games live. Every time I'm watching live the Astros start cranking out hits. I'm keeping up with the game on ESPN and watching after.

Re: 2019 mlb
I don't like the comparison, the Yankees just out spent everyone by a wide margin the last 45 years. The Patriots have dominated for 20 years against a salary cap and constantly drafting at the bottom of rounds. The Patriots success is impressive, the Yankees isn't.

Re: 2019 mlb
+1
Not even thinking about titles or parades right now, just go 1-0 two more times. Win your battle against the pitcher/hitter, win the inning, win the game. This series is far from over. Also, I gotta mention the Phillies hiring Girardi. Damn good move by them, if anybody knows how to manage expectations and a team full of stars it's him. |
