But I really like how their 2 trades complete each other.
They get good value back without creating any holes on their roster.
You can argue they downgraded a bit on both position, but they still have solutions.

Plus apparently Peters didn't want to stay long term and they had issues with him.

So in both cases they get really good value for players they wouldn't have kept 2 years from now.

At the beginning of this part of today's show, Cooley and Kevin talked about the Peters trade and compared it to the way our FO handle the KC situation: he doesn't want to be here, you don't like him a lot (right or wrong), get value for him while you can. Smart.
And they said that thinking the Rams only gave up a second, while it might be several picks...

Well, another one who may not be in the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes....

Kirk Cousins Reportedly Too Expensive For Cardinals.

So he's down to the Vikings, Jets, Broncos, and Browns.

Someone here posted that the Browns won't be signing him. If any other team drops out of the chase, it could get dicey for our boy Kirk.

I'll take a guess and say he'll take less money to play for the Broncos and they will sign him.

LOL, doubt it.

Competition Committee may be pushing a change with the pass interference penalty.

NFL Could Change Defensive Pass Interference Penalty

I'm on board with this. There shouldn't be any spot fouls in the NFL. 15 yarder is sufficient enough in this case.

It either needs to be 15 yards or reviewable (only the penalized team can challenge that it wasn't PI). No reason teams should get bogus 50 yard gifts.

Would be a good change. NCAA has this rule already, hasn't it? Spot of foul if under 15y, 15 yards penalty if the foul occurs further down the field.

Btw, I was looking at SB XXVI (amazing game).

And realized there has been some pretty significant rules changes between then and now:

What on earth was that "if a receiver is forced out of bounds while in the air, and he would have come down in bounds had he not been pushed, then it's a catch" rule ?!!?! Glad we got rid of that one!
It came up 2 times on the Art-Monk-called-back-TD-drive, feels pretty insane when you've never heard of it...

What made Blake Bortles extension questionable, and why Jacksonville Jaguars are all-in - NFL 2018

Re: Around the NFL Off season thread 1.0

I don't like that change, if you tackle a WR on a deep route on the 10 yard line where he would probably catch it, he should be down there. Now if you do that, it will also take away from crazy GW catches like (MIN) this yr and others. I say keep the P.I rule but take away Illegal Contact

If it's legit than it won't be bogus so I agree replay the fouls
