All three picks are very athletic and smart. They all played multiple positions in high school and/or college.

Amerson - at corner and safety.
Reed - at qb, receiver, tight end.
Thomas - safety, corner, and qb.

It's crazy that Thomas and Reed both played at qb in high school. And Thomas and Amerson played both at corner and safety in high school.

Reed started his college career at qb, and saw snaps at receiver, before breaking out as a tight end. So with Reed and to a certain extent Thomas, we may have insurance with an emergency qb.

Also wouldn't mind seeing Oday Aboushi to plug in at right tackle with either of our 5th rounders, Andre Ellington, and I'd love to see AJ Klein to groom as Flethcers heir apparent or go with someone who'll probably go undrafted like Bruce Taylor.

I don't think they extended him, just cut the cap number and reworked the contract so his bonus counts against next years cap so the team had room to sign the draft picks.

Nope. Worse is that Jesse Williams goes to Seattle. I'm really starting to hate this team more and more.

At this point I don't really care what we get. We have enough fodder at RT to hope one can start. Would love a SPecial teams ace so we can either cut Paul or have Davis on notice in case he wants crazy money next year.

In the Redskins defense, the both safeties need to play as a hybrid fs and ss. More fs than ss (letting the lbs do their jobs). I think in today's nfl, every defense needs to be this way.

Seattle Long CBs gets the tallest CB in the draft in Tharold Simon. He also said that he "runs this town" when arrested in Euncie this past week.

The draft order does change round to round. It happens when teams have the same record.

IE... You have one team get two wins in a season, they always pick first each round since no one had the same record. Then two teams both have three wins. One team gets the number two overall pick due to tiebreakers. The team that picked number three overall (the team that lost the first round tiebreaker) would have pick two in the second round. The team that picked second overall would have the 3rd pick in round two. Those two teams draft orders will alternate round to round since they had the same record.

To the draft itself, I think we have done a good job so far. No complaints about two big, fast DB's. I was worried about the TE pick at first, but it does give us an extra playmaker while letting us delay the WR decision an extra year. We also have the option now of going more 2 TE sets. It also allows us the option of letting Davis walk if he is getting offers for way to much money that would hurt the cap more than needed (never know, he may get enough money in FA to get us a compensatory pick).

The draft order doesn't snake was my point.

I would think if I was a rb waiting to be drafted at this point, I'd be hoping it was the Redskins picking me up.

Re: Draft talk rounds 4-7

I think a good fit would be ILB Kevin Reddick from North Carolina or DE Joe Kruger from Utah. Both would be good fits for the 3-4.
