I though we put this one to bed, I evaluate on what I see DB let other's continue to form your opinion's, I have watched him that's why I say what I say you obviously have been reading into all his hype which is based on his athletic ability and personality, I base him on his action's and his action's say other wise, a good GM evaluates talent on the field not what redskin's.com has written, but your more than welcome to believe whatever you read by all mean's, I have given my reason's in this thread I am not going to contiually have to repeat myself so go read that.

Re: Return Of Lavar

Here's a bit more of an objective review of LaVar from Scouts Inc.

Quote:
Name: LaVar Arrington
Position: Linebacker
Grade: 88 | Key
Alert: None

Comment:
Arrington has gone to the Pro Bowl as a starter in each of the last three seasons and he is expected to make the transition from the strong-side to the weak-side this year. Attacks the line of scrimmage when reads run, possesses good bulk and has the lower body strength to hold his ground at the point of attack. Takes good angles to the ball, generally closes down cutback lanes and is fast enough to consistently chase plays down from behind. Explodes into tackles, plays with a mean streak and is a fierce hitter that will force some fumbles. Flashes good ball skills and is capable of providing the occasional big play. As a pass rusher, has the explosive first step to beat most offensive linemen of the snap, is fast enough to turn the corner and shows good closing speed. Arrington takes too many chances and he needs to play with more discipline but he is still one of the best in the league and he is almost unblockable when he plays within the scheme. He is a playmaker that is stout against the run, consistently forces quarterbacks to hurry decisions and can cover backs out of the backfield.

I have read and you are wrong. Thats my opinion. And if you base things on his actions then you haven't really watched him play. So at least we know you watched the whole season last year except for the 1st 3 games when Arrington played and I was devasting on one leg. Did you see what he did in the Tampa game when he was healthy?

Re: Return Of Lavar

I never claimed to be. To say Arrington is slightly above average is not an opinion, it's naivety.

Re: Return Of Lavar

How about they duke it out in a steel cage match and the winner takes on Michael Westbrook?

Seriously though, let's move on
