Let's not forget Raheem Morris, his coaching is being felt and will make a difference this year.

So it took about 30 seconds for me to remember what happened when i woke up. I sort of just stood there in my kitchen staring at my coffee maker with a smile on my face. Ahhhhh. Have a great week everybody. Hope garcon is really good to go. Shame about bernstein of all the parts of the team to suffer injuries on - safety - really? Merriweather will be back tho. Also is Sundberg going to be able to play? Is that why there was the second nearly botched punt when the snap got away from rocca?

Re: Redskins at Saints Post Game Thoughts

Voted in the poll for Morris. Almost went with Gomes who seemed to play a heck of a game. Really, never heard Wilson's name called and I guess that's a good thing.

So jazzed right now, I just can't think straight.

So glad we kept Robinson. He is going to end up beating out Morgan/Hankerson for the 2nd spot. Morgan may end up a one and done with us. As for Moss, love the guy, but everyone should be treating this as his farewell tour.

RGIII!!! RGIII!!!

(When do we play Dallas??)

I give it to Kyle. Loved the formations, the play calling and play design. It looks like they're building this offense around RG3.

That whole 1st drive looked like the Baylor offense. Pistol formations, Spread options, smoke passes to the WRs. Pure Baylor in a Redskins uniform.

In that order.
Wait what? You put the Stadium the Skins played in during the 1930's pre RFK first and then our new QB in second?

Voted Morris. His consistency in the second half was a key. Several other guys had key contribs too but Morris probably was most important to the win. Really good fit for our run-game.

Picked a bad week to start betting again. LOL Just so you will know my charity at the end of the month is Edmark so you will know each week you lose they win.

As far as the win I'm not surprised at all we beat the Saints. I said all along that we had not seen anything through preseason of what RGII was going to do on the field. I liked how they started him off with the safe plays then worked things down field. Only gripe I would have beside the blocked punt was the play call got a little to conservative toward the end of the game.

Re: Redskins at Saints Post Game Thoughts

I voted for Morris, being a rookie and performing the way he did. I do think if Garcon had the opportunity to play the whole game it would have been him.
I was very worried about Griffin, he proved to be an asset yesterday.

I very surprised at how well A. Robinson played, also did not see much of Hankerson, thought that was odd. I didn't think he was inactive, was he?
