This article is in reference to what is going in the new CBA. That said, since the court has lifted the lockout, and most likely the teams will act under the same rules as last year. (FA = 6 years, Uncapped year, etc) Do teams wait to sign the rookies when a new CBA comes about or will they sign them under the old guidelines. Which basically means you give Cam Newton a guaranteed 55-60 million...lol

Last years rules violate every antitrust law on the books. they will be forced to open under no rules if the courts dont stay the ruling.

I think that is one reason why Judge Nelson reamed the owners. The owners operate against antitrust rules only because the players allow them to.
