Hopefully the plan for Biggers isn't to replace Hall, as he's a huge, huge downgrade. Biggers makes the mistakes Hall does but lacks the upside i.e. ballhawk and consistent INT production.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013 Part II
And just when I thought all the caterwauling was going to stop about our secondary depth during FA, here comes Goat. ;-) While I realize he was not the best option during FA, I feel like he is young enough he can still develop and improve for us. I still wouldn't mind bringing Hall back for the right amount of coin. Don't exactly see him as in demand since he's still on the market this far into the FA period...

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013 Part II
REDSKINS SIGN CB E.J. BIGGERS Biggers (6-0, 185) was originally drafted out of Western Michigan by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 45 career games with 24 starts, amassing 153 tackles (131 solo), three interceptions, 27 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one sack and 16 special teams tackles as credited by coaches’ film. In 2012, Biggers appeared in 13 games with 12 starts for the Buccaneers, finishing fifth on the team with 48 tackles (39 solo) and notching his first career sack and two forced fumbles. From 2009-11, he played under current Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris, Tampa Bay’s head coach during those seasons. Biggers, 25, played collegiately at Western Michigan from 2005-08, appearing in 46 games with 40 starts and named second-team All-MAC as a senior. Edjuan “E.J.” Biggers was born on June 13, 1987, in Miami. He attended the city’s North Miami Beach H.S., where he was named Dade County Player of the Year as a senior in 2004.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013 Part II
With what we've done so far and if we are able to keep Davis, I'd have to call this offseason a success considering the $18 mil penalty. Our main competition in the division IMO (Giants) lost 3 key players, Osi, Bradshaw, Bennett from last year. The Eagles are rebuilding and the Cowboys have done nothing but change defenses and get older. I feel good going into the draft & 2013 preseason.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013 Part II
I like the signing, given our cap situation, its about all we could have expected to get. He is still only 25 years old, is back with his old coach, and has starting experience. I like it, so he's not Deion Sanders, well we tried that too, it didn't work. Its not like this is the only addition we'll make to the secodary. We still have 7 choices in the draft to make improvements, plus I think Crawford can step up this year.

Re: Official Redskins Free Agency Thread 2013 Part II
Great move as long as he's not the only CB we sign. We needed to sign SOMEONE. Hopefully another CB like Antoine Winfield, Sam Shields, Nate Clements, Terrence McGee, Captin Munnerlyn or Tracey Porter can happen.
We obviously can't afford any of the better FA CBs like Asomugha, Grimes, Gamble or Jammer.
