A lot of athletes have drinking problems, and it is a major issue in the NFL. I will almost guarantee that soon in the NFL if a player is arrested for DUI there will be suspensions.

For the most part they are college age and a little older with a lot of money. I would not expect any less out of them. Hell, college kids don't have any money and they drink all the time. As they get older like most kids they will grow out of it.

Everyone knows the risks of getting into a car with a drunk driver. Brown paid the ultimate price for his decision. Brent needs to pay his.

Btw, that doesn't mean lock him up forever, or maybe not even locking him up at all, but someone died that night, there has to be some sort of punishment for that. Plenty of people die accidentally everyday. This case is no different.
Right. Brown willingly getting in the car doesn't absolve Brent of his guilt. Perhaps it mitigates it in some hard to define social way but Brent still did something wrong that got his friend killed.

no problem. Most of us have family or friends who's lives have been negatively affected (or ended) due to a drunk driver. its a sensitive issue.

At his size and weight, that would take a ton of alcohol...about 20 shots.

I ran him through a BA calculator...if he drank over 4 hours...20 shots to get a 0.18, then he tried to drive.

BAC is based on other factors besides just height and weight. Those estimators are just guidelines.

And I agree with punch here. This thread has run its course.
