That was a hell of a catch and run by Stallworth. I like him quite a lot, in fact I don't think our WR corp is as lacking as some say. If Hankerson can pick up where he left off we've got several go to guys just not a marquee WR type...

I agree, I would be surprised if Rex isn't here next year. I'll go as far to say even if we draft one of the top three QB prospects, Rex will head into camp as the starting QB.

GREAT WIN!!

Proud to be a fan today. The entire team deserves stud status.

I will give a special stud to the secondary. Easily their best game of the year. Even Westbrook looked great back there.

Yeah, thats my point. Unless the Rookie QB comes in and works with KS all summer long I have to imagine he won't know the whole playbook. The majority of the rest of the team will be ready for whatever he calls but its still a matter of what the new guy can retain.

I too would guess Rex starts next season until the new QB understands the play book better and see's how the scheme is supposed to flow. Sad thing is Rex seems to stall the flow of the game with his INT's. The first deep pass would have been if nothing else a nice gain if Rex had the arm to go deeper. I wonder though how much is it he under throws on purpose so he doesn't over throw the WR? Wasn't it last week he threw a a 50 yarder or so it seemed to AA in the endzone? Could it be the WR's and QB are still not on page with each other and Rex is miss judging their speed and when he's supposed to deliver the ball to the specific yard line he's late with his throw?

And that's why I think it's so important to win whatever you can instead of this intentionally lose to get a better draft pick. Winning makes showing up to work better, more confidence in yourself and the coaches and makes you believe.

Right on! The offensive line has played as well if not better the last two weeks without Trent Williams and Jamaal Brown on the field.

Williams has lots of talent but really does need to hit the weight room and - - it would seem - - the conditioning room a bit more. Brown has been playing at the journeyman level the last two seasons.

The two "kids" playing now may not be Pro Bowl caliber players, but they play hard and they play smart. There is a lot to be said for that.

While Jamaal Brown has been a pain to watch in pass pro, I haven't yet to find anything really disturbingly bad about Trent's play. His run blocking was shored up by a large degree from last season, and his pass pro has been adequate for most of the season.

Gotta keep Grossman. Beck gets the axe.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)

The Redskins rematch with the NYG came at the right time. The Giants were coming off a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints and a close victory against Dallas while the Redskins have been impressive for the past couple of weeks, although those games had resulted in losses. One team was feeling good about itself despite it's losing record while the other felt good about itself also, but obviously not enough. The Redskins losing that close game to the Pats and the Giants winning that close game against the Cowgirls definitely propelled the Redskins to be the better team coming into this match up.
