Boy this is fun to see who we will pick at this early in a draft, but I would much rather have the last pick any day.

No worries, this time next year we will have the last pick in EVERY round (except for the 5th we gave up for Thrash)!!

Hey JoeC,

Earlier Defense said that Bowen wasn't a very good safety. Do you agree or disagree with that assertion? I am just curious. I guess I thought he was adequate and that he seemed to get some good press. What were your observations of him at Mini-Camp? Thanks

Would you call Bowen or Ohelete a very good safety? No, I certainly would not. They are adequate at best. Sothat is why I say they are not very good.

Iffy keeps improving. Wasnt he an undrafted player? id say hes come a long way and is only getting better. He did come up with some big plays last year. Hes not elite, probably not even very good. But it wouldnt be the end of teh world if we had to use them again. THe extra depth at corner and better schemes should help.

i'm also down with iffy... i didn't think he'd be in the L this long, much less as a starter back when i watched him play for SC. but he's one of those guys that won't make the pro-bowl, but he gets better every year.
