11/11/11- Veteran's Day Salute

I purposely left this thread out of the "debating with the enemy" forum because it should not turn political.

I simply want to give a very humble thank you to the men and women in our armed forces.

This is a time where there is much debate about "should we be in this war and should we be that conflict." Well, they don't pick the battles, but they do willingly lay their life on the line every time they set foot in the field, be it land, sea, or air.

Their bravery is unmatched. To all our current and past military- I say thank you and god bless.

A big salute indeed. Kudos to all our military men and women who have served and continue to serve and protect our country.

Excellent thread. Thank you to everyone past or present who has served their country. Their bravery allows us to continue our way of life here at home.

Took this picture of the new statue they just put at the entrance to Quantico a few months ago while I was sitting at the light.
