While this is probably a good legal move, I just can't help but feel that the NFLPA, and DeMaurice Smith specifically, just are not going to win with their current strategy. I think even if the owners lose this argument, they will dig in even deeper against the NFLPA.
Also the last line of the Yahoo Sports article is crazy dumb:
