Terrible offensive systems, getting hit like a pinata, too many fumbles, holding the ball too long. A bad situation and mediocre play.

I believe his tenure in Oakland and wherever else he plays will cement that legacy.
I've always felt that Jason's slow reads were a function of ever-changing offensive systems while he was here. McNabb played one system his entire time in Philly. Likewise, Manning and Brady have played in the same systems for their respective teams. The more stability you give a QB, the better chance that his instincts become 2nd nature.

On the other hand, Jason played in a Gibbs system, then a Saunders system for 2 years, then Zorn's WCO for 2 years. Of those I thought that he was best suited for Saunders' system, but he wasn't in it long enough to yield results. Even Todd Collins said that it takes about 3 years to master.

Hopefully Campbell will be given some measure of offensive stability in Oakland with a better chance to succeed. To me Campbell's legacy here will be his toughness and professionalism despite less than ideal circumstances.

It just didn't fit in for him. Hopefully Oakland will fit in for Jason! Seems like a nice guy!

Maybe Fred Davis's brother can find JC's brother and he can post about his resurgence in Oakland.

With the Skins he was a bust. They gave up a ton to draft him and he never really produced. On top of that they give him away for a 4th round pick (without any performance conditions) to Oakland which tells me no other team was interested or else they'd have taken the better offer. Had Oak not taken him the Skins would have cut him. IMO, he is one of the biggest Skins draft busts of all time.

If a guy as mediocre as Gus still has a fan, JC is bound to have one too.

If that bum couldn't make us 8-8 I dont see how he will in oakland. I guess if he gets hurt mabey but I dont see him playing any better. He had plenty of chances with us but always waited to long, overthrew our recievers..... I just dont see oakland getting anymore than a game or two better.

Actually, JC may love having a burner like DHB since DHB can out run the corner and leave JC room to underthrow him.
