Redskin.com Poll Question Changed

They took off Resign Smoot and Pierce. Well we know they missed on Pierce but is this a sign that Fred is defiently out?

Concerning free agency, which do you prefer?

Big splash with high-profile signings

Moderate signings that fill needs

Bypass free agency, build via draft

Other answer

Re: Redskin.com Poll Question Changed

I prefer a combo of the three. In FA fill needs with high value signings like this years' signing of Patten. This saves some cap room to make the occassional big splash move but only when we're talking about a younger guy with upside at a reasonable price like last year with Washington. Preferably all holes are adequately filled before the draft that way we can take the best available player regardless of position.

No the real statement here is that they took off Smoot and Pierce from the possible answers. Does that seem like a indication that Fred is gone?

Re: Redskin.com Poll Question Changed

I wouldn't look too far into it.

Some people think if a player's jersey goes on sale at skins.com it means he's gone, Samuels was on sale a few days ago, not sure if it still is but as we all know he re-signed.

I also think you need to use BOTH free agency AND the draft. But we can't overpay for the free agents either........sign me some blue collar guys.....that ask for a reasonable market value...........

Re: Redskin.com Poll Question Changed

Sign 1 big price FA, get a couple of role guys to do a job (Rabach and Patten), and then draft a stud (Williams or Pollack) would be the way id do it.

All we need then is the stud FA which hopefully will be Smoot.
