Re: Bear's Release Terrell

we're stilla bit clogged on average WRs... our problem is we don't have a TO/Moss/CJ type guy since LC got hurt, so i think he'd be a bit more than useless to us right now.

I will be the first one to admit that I dont watch college football so I never saw Williamson, Clayton, Williams, or Edwards actually play a down of football. With that being said, I did watch the combine, now I know that you cant really base alot off of the combine, but that is all that I got to see of these players. Givin Edwards and Williams didnt do the drills the jury is out on them. But Clayton and Williamson did do the drills, and from what I saw I liked Clayton. He is good and by drafting him we could trade down pick up more picks and take care of other needs and still come out of the draft with a playmaking WR.

Another WR I would like to see us get is Vincent Jackson out of Northern Colorado.

Well if McCants is forever in the Gibbs' doghouse, why not bring a guy like Terrell in to compete? Thrash isn't isn't getting any younger, or faster.

I will say that I've liked Thrash's moves as a return man and later in the year he did pretty well with the clutch catches. I can see him as the #2/#3.

I'm with THAT GUY. But that's the question. Who is the next TO/Moss/Pepto?

In one of the reports from the Washington Post or Times (can't remember which) at the very bottom of the article, it said that McCants doesn't seem to be in Gibbs' plans. How odd for a guy that just before last season, they locked in so he couldn't be signed by another team.

The McCants situation is one that I just don't get. He seemed to have so much promise. With a season or two to knock off the rust, McCants appeared to be an ideal 2nd or 3rd wideout on the roster. An excellent target in the endzone, with great height and leaping ability, McCants seemed to possess the qualities that not many wide receivers are best known for. There must be something really repellant about this guy that we don't know about.

I'm just curious, aside from attitude, would anyone PREFER Moss over Coles?

Hey what kind of numbers does the guy have anyway? Scary thing is, Taylor Jacobs could could end up the same way. If we don't develop him that is.

Re: Bear's Release Terrell

Yes he could. I'm also hoping for even MORE development from Patrick Ramsey now that he can pass upright. Maybe HE can be one of those QB's that make the receivers look GOOD.

Re: Bear's Release Terrell

This guy saw me at Wal-Mart last night and asked me if I was a Redskin fan. Apparently, he has seen me around town wearing my jersey, or in my car with all the paraphanellia in/on it. Anyway, he started to say that our problem was a the QB position. I looked at him as he was crazy. Then I walked away. This guy obviously doesn't know squat.

Well if he only saw any of the first 11 games I'd say that was a good observation. That is taking into account the Steelers and Phily game when Patrick first took over for mark.

Not only that, the Brunell situation was HIGHLY publicized. That's why we post on THIS website for "the knowledgeable fan."

Randy moss? not talking about santana here... QB could very well be a concern still... i mean ramsey isnt mcnabb vick or peyton, but he's still a quality starter that should end up in the top 12-16 as far as passing yards...

I'm not really concerned, but its not like he threw for 4,000 yards last year. Really i'm more concerned they figure out how to throw a couple deep passes and get portis more than 3.8ypc...

Everyone I see says "You'll be fine if you get a QB."

No one seems to think Patrick Ramsey is any good. A Ravens fan friend of mine tried to tell me Boller was better. I simply laugh.
