I will say I don't drink any tea that I'm not steeping. I don't do the canned/bottled/restaurant brewed stuff.

All said and done, I'd prefer a cup of good black coffee over any of the above.
True that

Re: Favorite Tea

When I lived in Hilton Head I worked at a bar and the kitchen made sweet tea every day, it was really sicking to watch them make it. It was made in a huge garbage can (the can was sterile) with tea and this mixture of water and sugar basically a simply syrup. It was so damn sweet I don't know how folks drank it.

Re: Favorite Tea

I prefer tea to any drink....my grandma used to make the best southern style iced tea, I remember walking into her house and the sweet brewing smell that filled the rooms.

My favorite now is the black tea that Honest teas make. I dont do hot teas, rather just have coffee. I think Honest teas are actually headquartered in southern maryland, so give them a try should be prevelant up there.

Re: Favorite Tea

I too prefer no sweetener in tea, as I like the flavor of the tea on it's own. My favorites are the CinnaMint and PepperMint teas they have at Caribou Coffee, although I've never really met a tea I didn't like. We usually have a box of the Celestial Seasonings tea bags in the cupboard, and from time to time, I'll throw the kettle on and make tea not too long before bed.
