I just saw this posted somewhere else too. It's crazy, but I guess not completely suprising. RIP

RIP. For like 18 months in the 80s, he was the biggest star in Hollywood.

I always kind of liked "License to Drive"

It's really tragic, and on a larger scale, it's tragic the number of child actors that end up with destroyed lives. I have no magic fix for it, but that seems like a place where studies and regulations could maybe help. Is our entertainment really that important?

I think it was longer then that. Teenage girls loved the Corey's.

Usually when these hollywood people die I can see their pic and say "Oh them". I saw his pic and still have no clue who he is besides Corey Haim.

Corey Haim Found Dead | TMZ.com

Just for the record, I called this 2 years ago when the 2 Coreys TV show was on the air. That show was riveting due to his extreme behavior and his final drug use ended up killing the show.

It's a shame what's happened but I'll say that I'm not surprised. 2 years ago, him and Steve-O were the two people I had pegged for passing away due to narcotic use if they didn't drastically change their lives...Steve-O did, it's a shame that Haim didn't.

Re: RIP Corey Haim

Great call Skinny, nobody saw Elvis dying early either.

I called Anna Nicole's death for the record.

Lol...true, it didn't take much to call that but to see it come to fruition is pretty strange.

Newspapers seriously could have written this story years ago and just left the date out...that's pretty bad.

BTW, my fiancee would also tell you that I have a compulsion to watch Corey Haim and his movies. I have some strange attraction to his 80's movies and his odd destructive behavior. I was probably the only person TiVo'ing the Two Coreys when it was on.

Re: RIP Corey Haim

Definitely shitty but yet I'm not surprised. The guy had some serious demons.

I still have no clue who this guy is/was. Don't think I've ever seen a single one of his movies.

You never saw 'The Lost Boys' or 'Lucas'?

Re: RIP Corey Haim

I also have no idea who he was. But I don't think that makes me old, I think it makes me young. The guy's career had fizzled into nothing by the time I cared about anything beyond Saturday morning cartoons.
