Re: Players Rate Playing Surfaces

Maybe I read it wrong - but I got them as rating our field as one of the best.

When you get that many wins on an away field it probably feels like a good stadium =/

Haha. Yeah that's how I read it to Daseal. I have never, well maybe once seen our field in bad shape.

Some of the players (15 of them) thought it was one of the worst. Still, they keep beating us!

Oue field has been great, the reason most likely ours is not number 1 is the weather is not alwyas 75-80 and sunny. Considerring lots of cold weather and cloudy fall days our field is great. Now if they would rate the stadiums for ammeneties, we might finsih dead last. Went to Pittsburg this year and while their field is the worst there food and amenities are awsome.

CRT, the amenities are actually pretty good at FedEx. Come on up to the Club Level sometime.

I am at the club level. I do not drink at the game as I drive. Also I am not a soda drinker, so I would love to get an Iced Tea or a Lemonade. Our waiter is great but the menu slections are quite poor. Go to any other stadium and check the food out. You have to admit even the club level lacks what they have available at Camden and M&T.

I'll agree the chair-side menu is a little weak for both food and beverages (I don't drive so I get a little thirsty). The restaurants and bars inside have a better selection.

Besides, it's hard to argue "amenities" when there's a Hooters Restaurant inside featuring an all-star lineup of servers from all the surrounding establishments. I say AMEN to those amenities.

Re: Players Rate Playing Surfaces

I havent read the article yet but i dont think they do the best job of taking care of the field. The stadium is great, but i went to all of the games for the first like foru years of the stadium, and i watched the field get worse. it used to be beautiful, always cut, freshly painted, it looked great. Now it looks like they paint it once at the beginning of the year and thats it and just cut it but dont keep seeding it and keep it up to the level that it once was. It used to really bother me, it was a big thing that I always noticed. i would mainly get upset that Im paying all this money and they cant even repaint the endzone everyonce in a while

With all the money the ownership group has you'd think they could afford it ............
