It'll be nice to see what some of those changes on defense will bring.
I felt last year we were a defender or two short of the cup. It's early, but I think we're a little closer this time. Perhaps even close enough....

I personally am a bit more optimistic because I think adding MikeKnuble and Brendan Morrison are upgrades over the departed Serge Fedorov and Victor Kozlov.
