Thats cool with me. Would rather have that legacy attached to a season than the legacy that is now forever written on the Redskins 2009 season.

People used to get on Gibbs for taking all the blame.

Now Zorn is guilty of not taking enough.

Insane I tell ya.

Running hills and hard practices are very different from clipboard throwing.

Re: Notes from Zorn's Press Conference (Sept. 28)

Here is an interesting article reflecting the theme of Zorn's presser in contrast to the statements of the players. It's not breaking new ground, but I thought it was a very well written piece of analysis:

Redskins players, Zorn see big picture differently • Sports (www.HometownAnnapolis.com - The Capital)

Dude, Zorn threw a sideline fit in the Rams game. He got pissy on the sidelines in the Giants game. He exploded on the sidelines in last year's Detroit game. And these were just the outbursts that I and the cameras happened to catch. If he's doing that in public, imagine what goes on behind closed doors. I really don't think that he holds back negative emotions. He just tries to be nice in the presence of media.

If he is in danger of losing the locker room, to get really angry at players in front of the press would be the final nail in that coffin.

Of course in the 80s it was a totally different league, climate and game. The "changes" to the NFL have been, for the most part, negative. Quarterback rules, pass interference, inconsistent referees..just seems to be a lot less fun. Players had a different attitude back then too.
