No surprise here. Lloyd/Arch/Spurrier were some of the worst moves in franchise history.

Interesting... 2008 was the first year Danny didnt have to pay Spurrier 5Million to do nothing.

I think that because he resigned, he never saw the last $15 million of that.

What do you mean?

He resigned so the Skins didn't have to pay the final $15M.

unfortunately, can't argue w/the ones he's picked out by the skins. He could've piled on & added Deion too.

I vehemently disagree w/#1. At the time the Falcons had no idea Vick was involved in a dog fighting operation, and it's a fact that Vick's arrival increased ticket sales big time in Atl.

Lloyd / Arch advocated by Saunders / Williams (supported by Gibbs), both are gone. Spurrier advocated by Pepper Rodgers, gone. I would say Synder has learned his lesson.

Enough of the Lloyd / Arch / Spurrier stuff

Now don't try and blame VC for all of those blunders. Sure he was here, playing an active role in our FO, and player scouting, but had nothing to do w/ any of those.

Those make me cringe. Hope Hall doesn't get anywhere near what he got in Oakland, that was insane.

Ouch, the Raiders and the Skins are 5 out of 10. OMG, are we the Raiders? Surely, we can be a little more wise than Al Davis?

We're not in the same category as the Raiders. A couple more Archeleta's, and maybe.

We're similar to the Raiders, but for one key difference: the Raiders have an inexplicable preference for adding players who conclusively suck (Kwame Harris, Ashley Lelie, Bruce Gradkowski, and now I'm hearing Jerry Porter).

We've grabbed some bad players before, but don't seem to share the same desire they have for trying to pick out the very worst the free agent market and NFL draft have to offer.

Not Jason Taylor, he's essentially a rental. We can cut ties at any time with no cap penalty. He had no signing bonus.

No one could have predicted Taylor's injuries back when we signed him and he was the best DE available I believe. Whereas when we signed Arch and Lloyd, there were red flags all over the place about them before we signed them. I think Taylor was just pure bad luck.
