Man.. I shouldn't talk about L. Arrington since he's gone. But man.. I miss him on the field. He was a Beast! You guys have to admit he was one helluva linebacker for us when he was healthy.

Do you think there is a chance he will play football again?

I miss having the guy around but hes not better than any of our linebackers now. Like Dmek said, he's done.

He was a true Redskin. You still see 56 jerseys on tv at the games.

I miss his personality, I don't miss him being out of position more often than not.

This is just my opinion...with regard to Lavar Arrington's relationship with the team, I think there is more than enough excrement in that sandwich for everyone...the front office, Lavar, the coaches, and the Postons...what a waste of time and talent...

I honestly don't really miss his personality. With LaVar, everything is about LaVar. I was kind of tired of hearing him talk about how great he was and talking a lot of smack that he didn't always back up.

Definitely something to that SGG. He pissed me off by refusing the contract for jerseys every player agrees to (he wanted a bigger cut) and how he was one of the few players not in a game I used to play.

Annyong haseyo to you in Seoul.

I miss Lavar too, but I certainly see the Danny's side of it, even if the front office has badly damaged some player relationsips in the past.

It's really a shame that Lavar had the injuries that he's had the past 2 years. I bet if he could get healthy both sides would bury the hatchet & it would be possible for him to come back here & maybe make the roster as a backup. It just doesn't sound like his knees are ready for football again.

and how he regrets it now or at least that's the vibe I felt from his eulogy last week. Then again, if he was still playing, who knows. Oh, and he still has the playbook.

I guess most of you liked Warrick Holdman (who replaced lavar) better. I like Rocky McIntosh better myself, but lets be honest. He's not yet on the level of a healthy Lavar. Back when he was making pro bowls that is.

Re: I must confess.. I still miss Lavar.

I actually had a chance to meet Lavar in person, in his home the year before he left. He was incredibly polite, accommodating, and very down to earth. He didn't come across as arrogant or stuck up, and took time and a personal interest in us.

He even went so far as to apologize to us for his manager's behavior (his manager had been a real douche to us earlier).

Not saying he might have been a complete "diva" in the locker room or on field or wherever, all I can speak to is the limited interaction I had with him.
