Wiz

Predictions for this season anyone? Personally after the Patriots game, I'm looking forward to some Le Wiz action, as a sorbet to cleanse the palate.

Maybe Arenas could suit up at WR for the Skins on Sunday.

Re: Wiz

If they can stay healthy they should win the Southeast at least. Blatche has to step up his game this year, and I expect Songaila to be a big contributor.

I hate Etan Thomas, but the fact is he and Haywood together made a good two-headed monster. Without him it's up to Haywood now to play tough, something he's been unable to do so far in his career with any consistency

I'll say 50-32, division title, conference finals

Re: Wiz

I am really hoping we'll see Blatche take a big leap forward this year. If he does, this team could be something special. If he continues to flounder around in the mediocrity tier, it's going to spell bad things for this squad.

Can't wait for the season to start. Health is key. 50 wins is accurate.

Re: Wiz

while i think Eddie Jordan is one of the best up and coming coaches in the league, he got tons of mileage out of backups like Thomas, Haywood, and blatche. i see hovering around .500. Arenas is a bona fide top 5 player in this league, but what happens if he goes down? he carried the team in a ton of games last season

Re: Wiz

I love Rondo. I really wanted the Wizards to draft him a couple of years ago and shift Arenas to SG. Love Arenas but the flow of the offense dies when he gets the ball. I mean he's the star and he makes plays (most of the time) but why have EJ and his Princeton offense if you're not going to run it.

Re: Wiz

At least in the last two games, Arenas has been buying into being more of a facillitator. He had 11 assist on Wednesday and 8 yesterday. But there were a few passes last night where it looked like he thought he was on the Globetrotters - turnovers.

When they run the offense the way it's suppose to be run, they look great. Hopefully they can do that tonight.

Well they'll have to do it without Arenas. He's out tonight

Watching the game. Jamison and AD carrying the team tonight. Did Arenas have to have his knee drained again?? I really hope not...

Rajon Rondo is actually a second year player from Kentucky. He's very, very good defensively, but not much of an offensive threat...
