I would say don't do it, unless you want your sons vocalbulary to grew. Take the little guy to a MLB game it is better suit for children.

I agree,
There is no point to do this if you are a "protective" dad
He wont remember it, you will have a worse time, constantly worrying about him, you'll have to carry him half the time and what about using the bathroom?

The foul language is bad but the biggest problem will be logistics with a toddler
Wait until he is about 7+

I say...dont do it. (unless someone is going to babysit him the entire time)
PS...this game is during nap time.

Re: Taking my son to the game

I''ve got a 2 yo myself and I certainly wouldn't take her and she loves the 'skins herself...my recommendation would be wait until he's about 5 or 6 and test him first...by having him sit in front of the TV at home for an entire game, the stipulation being he can get move from his seat except to go with you to the bathroom or to get food. Kind-of a gameday simulation if you will. If he can handle that, then he's probably ready for the real deal.

I agree... not a good environment for a 2 year old ... at age 5 and up would better..he'll remember more.

I sure am glad you had a good experience, but why would you ask everyones opinion if you already had your mind made up anyways.

Do I sound like your wife yet?

I dont know if you sound like his wife if he has one...BUT, you must have been reading my mind.

Next time just go.....tell us what a great or ungreat time you had! Becareful where you sit, with a todler...it CAN BE BRUTAL. You got very lucky it sounds like. Might not work out so great next time, and it certainly depends on which game you might be going to. Philly game your story might not have this happy ending.

I mean its going to be hit or miss, so the ppl that said not to take him, I can see where its coming from. I mean I'll never go to Buffalo again...just atrocious people there (again not everyone, but its very common to find trouble there). I've been to FedEx five times now, and have never had or even seen a problem and would recommend that to any fan, Redskins or not...you wont find too much trouble there. The only other place I've been is Raymond James, which I'll give my highest reccomendation to anyone, they are good people down there. They'll jaw (jokingly) a little bit, but its all in good fun and didnt see any trouble in Tampa.

Re: Taking my son to the game

I imagine your son fed off you. I'm guessing you were happy and excited watching today's game and your son's behavior reflected that. Had it been the Giants game, it may not have been as pleasant an experience

Would love to see some pictures
