Culpepper asks to be released from Dolphins.

Being they were going to dump him anway....... I know DC had a few good seasons, but I always thought he was overrated.

He's on a down hill slide to nowhere, good chance he will finish his career with a sad team. There is a limited market at this point for a QB most teams are set, not to mention a used up QB.

Re: Culpepper asks to be released from Dolphins.

If I'm not mistaken the other thread was the fins are trying to unload DC, do we want him. I know the answer to that. Of course NOT.

How is it basically the same thread? Completely different subject.

Re: Culpepper asks to be released from Dolphins.

He needed to slim down some when he was still at Minnesota. He was too big and slow. All that weight on those knees along with the hits he took did him in, not to mention his horrible play when he did play for the Fins. I think he should call it a career to be honest and possibly land a gig at ESPN or the alphabet networks. THe best he can be is a 3rd stringer or a 2nd stringer on a really bad team if he continues playing. It is sort of sad, this guy was one of the hottest Qb's in the league only 3-4 seasons ago, now he is chattle.

Rams, Jags, Ravens, and Pats have all reportedly expressed interest

On another note, anyone see Ana Ivanovic defeat Sharapova today in the Women's French Open Tennis semi-finals? She looked good...and I'm not just talking about her play on the court

Michael Vick will more than likely be suspended. I think that Atlanta might be an option for this year.

Re: Culpepper asks to be released from Dolphins.

I feel a little bad for Dante, while I think he was always a bit overrated in MN, he's been working really hard all offseason for the fins. I think if he's put in the right situation, he could do some great things again. He tried to come back too early from a pretty big injury last year.

Re: Culpepper asks to be released from Dolphins.

What's with the fascination with Culpepper lately?? One thread was already locked, I think we've exhaused the Culpepper talk for now.
