Check my FF team
This is my second offensive players league that i'm in, we just did our draft yesterday, and i'm pretty pleased with the results.
Marc Bulger, QB Willis McGahee, RB Clinton Portis, RB Torry Holt, WR Reggie Wayne, WR Dallas Clark, TE Pittsburgh Steelers, TD John Kasay, K Deion Branch, WR/RB/TE Aaron Brooks, BN Daunte Culpepper, BN Javon Walker, BN Ben Watson, BN Indianapolis Colts, BN Cedric Benson, BN what do you guys think?

Re: Check my FF team
running back depth is low you can probably switch out a TE, TD, and QB for more depth.
your WRs are good. |

Re: Check my FF team
i doubt statistically bolger does anything this year, culpepper might be the ticket(if healthy)

Re: Check my FF team
Bulger did put up good numbers before he got injured last year, and yeah, i need to check out another running back left, but i dunno who to drop because i already have the max number of players.

Re: Check my FF team
watson, clark, or brooks. you don't need 2 D's either usually, since the difference between #5 and #15 aren't great, and one of them will always be available.
I'd bet on watson being big this year (lack of other talent) over clark (underachiever). neither one is a safe bet though. |

Get rid of Brooks, he's one of the worst starting QBs in the NFL and won't improve with the Raiders. I doubt he'll even play all year. You should try to trade him for a team that needs another QB for a backup RB. Bulger is a great starter and Culpepper is a great backup who COULD be your starter if he does well and stays healthy. QB grade = B RB (Portis/McGahee/Benson) Portis could bethe best RB in football this year. However, McGahee's best days are behind him in my opinion, so he's no longer a #1 RB but could be a servicable backup. Benson will be good IF he's not splitting time with Thomas Jones, who I've owned and loved in Fantasy Football for the last few years. You need another RB. I think you should trade Aaron Brooks for one. RB Grade = B (only because of Portis, you need another RB though) WR (Holt/Wayne/Branch/Walker) Good WR crew. Holt is always good, Walker will be good now that he's away from the mess in Green Bay. Branch is part of a huge WR-by-committee in NE but is always their top WR and is a good #3 or #4 for you. Wayne's number should go up with the loss of Edge James in Indy. Good job here. WR Grade = A TE (Clark/Watson) You'll want to watch these two for a few weeks to pick one, or you may want to play matchups. Neither are great. Clark scores TDs but doesn't see many passes away from the end zone. Watson is good some weeks but is not consistent. You could've done worse though. TE Grade = C DEF (PIT/IND) Pittsburgh is always one of the top defenses and I don't see that changing. Indy's D was a huge surprise last year and we'll see if it was a fluke or not. Great picks. DEF Grade = A Kicker (Kasay) He's been a top kicker for years and if he can stay healthy in his old age, you have a good kicker. Kicker Grade = B OVERALL GRADE = B |

RBs are awesome with Portis and Jackson. Foster is good when healthy, but Carolina always plays about 4 or 5 different RBs so you may want to upgrade him...but if he's healthy and playing he's a good 3rd RB. WRs are SOLID. Good job. TEs are pretty good. Cooley is your man, Troupe is an adequate backup but you should never start him over Cooley. Kicker is ok. Not the best but you could do worse. Defense may be a question mark. Arizona was actually a GREAT fantasy defense last year, better than they were in real life. Dallas...we'll see. Tough division and a lot of new faces. Keep an eye on both of their fantasy performances and play Arizona when Dallas plays the Skins or Giants. Overall a pretty good team. |

Re: Check my FF team
I don't have a bunch of big names, but more guys that I think will step it up this year. This team is really one of those, that will be nasty or terrible.
QB: Manning(the good one), Brees RB:Tiki(pending trade), W.Parker, D. Foster, M. Bell(Can't wait for this guy) WR:C.Johnson, Rod Smith, N.Burleson, K.Curtis(sleeper) TE:A.Gates K:Rackers DEF:Tampa Bay, Miami I need better WR depth, and trying to trade a RB for a WR, but I don't want to part with any of those guys!!
