Re: Election Day November 5,2024
So it starts,
https://www.nbcwashington.com/decisi...trump/3758172/ As Donald Trump yet again tells his supporters he can lose Tuesday only if there's massive voter fraud and as he ramps up violent rhetoric about Democrats and other "enemies," members of the far-right group that put more "boots on the ground" than any other at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, say they're mobilizing. The last time Trump tried to overturn his election loss, the Proud Boys played a critical role, jumping into action on Jan. 6 just weeks after Trump gave the group a major recruitment boost by telling it to “stand back and stand by” during a presidential debate. The group, which was “thirsting for violence and organizing for action,” sent members to the Capitol to act as “Donald Trump’s army,” federal prosecutors said later. Several Proud Boys leaders were ultimately convicted of seditious conspiracy and are still in prison, including former chairman Enrique Tarrio, who is serving 22 years, the longest sentence given to any Jan. 6 defendant

Question to All? , how do you Vote(not who do you vote for)
Are you a stand in line in person voter (as I am)on Election Day or did you vote early or by Mail in Ballot?

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
I voted by mail in 3 weeks ago. Took my ballot to local election office and put in drop box. I’ve done mail in since 2020, before that in person early voting. It’s been years since I actually voted on Election Day.

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
If Trump wins, you will know by midnight. If Kamala wins, it might take a day or two since she needs PA, especially if she doesn’t win GA and NC.
Even if Kamala wins, Trump will try to steal it. They plan to stop certifications. Their goal is to take it to the house; where each state gets vote and there are more gop delegations. |

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
I was able to drive to the location, vote in person, and make it back home within 15 minutes. That was fantastic. Found a new dog-park while I was at it.
See everyone in the game-thread on Sunday. I'm outta here until then.

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
I do mail-in. There is a drop box at one of my kids schools so I swing by it everyday picking them up from practice. Got my notification Monday my ballot had been collected and processed.
Since Maryland uses schools for voting sites and the kids are off we go over to River's Edge in Washington county and mountain bike

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
I love Election Day. I once did early voting and it was like having a make shift Christmas on December 15th because someone is leaving the country. I enjoy going to the poll on Election Day very much.
Big turnouts nationwide is all I know for sure. I personally believe women will turn this election into a Kamala Harris Presidency. |

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
If trump wins, the democrats only have themselves to blame for putting up such a crappy ticket. i voted for trump twice, but didn't this time but also couldn't vote for harris. A moderate democrat that didn't blast pro abortion messaging as loud as possible would have had a far better chance of getting anti trump republicans.

Re: Election Day November 5,2024
Well here in AZ we've had four bomb threats on polling places in the Navajo nation (Heavily Dem area). I guess not surprising as our craziest MAGA types live in Northern Arizona (Timothy McVay operated out of that area).
Edit update. It seems the bomb threats are likely coming from Russia. Last edited by nonniey; 11-05-2024 at 09:08 PM. |
