Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Penix has way too many injury problems. Dude has torn both knees already. If you can get him in the 2nd sure but not at 4 or 5

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Getting the 3rd pick would be awesome. AZ will win another game IMO maybe 2. They have been competitve all yr

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
My perfect scenario is we get pick 3 and the #4 owner wants it for a QB. We trade down, get our new LT and an extra pick or 2. Unless Maye and Williams go 1 & 2, which is possible if Chicago and NE stay in top 2 places.
I doubt the Cards would trade up for a QB, and more likely to be competing for the top OT candidate (or Harrison?). Though it would be great if the Cards are at #4 and desperate to get Harrison... |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
We're not winning another game. This team has quit. So it's really all about what the other sucky teams do the rest of this season.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Rivera really put us in a tough spot with his handling of the oline. We could get Harrison and Maye and it would not matter. This oline allows for roughly 2 seconds for a play to develop. We simply cannot avoid oline in the first round. Unless you are willing to wait two more years for us to compete. This offense with a better oline would allow us to compete. I think the recent poor play from Sam is the pressure finally getting to him. He is definitely pressing.

If one of the top elite players is available, like Maye or Harrison, you take them.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
If Harrison Jr is there for us just take him, can't get hung up on needs at the top of the draft. BPA all the way.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Yeah I agree. This offense needs another play making weapon......we don't have that with Terry or Jahan presently.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I think its a moot point about us considering a QB at #3 or #4. Bears and Patriot's are going to be taking the top 2 QB's with the 1 & 2 pick. I could live with Harrison over Fashanu at #3 or Fashanu or Alt at #4, but I couldn't live with us reaching for the 3rd QB. I don't think our next GM will be that dumb. One of the OT's, Harrison or more picks. Only approach that makes sense to me.
