His handling skills are god awful. He also blew his chance to score. Couldn't even score standing in front of the goal with NO goal keeper.

Klinsman should just bench him.

There is no one to take Bradley's place and as for the goal it was more of a great save by the defender .

Wasn't Bradley fault ,others were in defense also .

Re: World Cup

I can't watch soccer for :30 w/out wanting to turn the channel. It's the most brutally boring sport to watch. Just dreadful, World Cup or not. Why is it that no one gives a damn about soccer here 99.9% of the time? Then The World Cup comes and it freakin' crazy. Anyhow just my .02. I watched Michelle Wie win the US Open over soccer.

I'm sorry but baseball is more boring. Regular soccer is eh. World Cup soccer is different. But to each their own I guess.

Re: World Cup

Just curious. If The World Cup came on in the fall on a Sunday, would anyone watch over football?

Erick Howard ,and yes he has played well ,I like Clint Dempsey he did a good job up front by himself yesterday and while there are things you can bitch about with Bradley I still believe he has played ok ,he does have to control the ball better .

Well, yeah... of course you would because you root for the frickin' Giants. I'd probably watch soccer over my team's QB slinging a hundred picks a game too.

I respect their talent and they have to be in tremendous physical shape. But there is not way the top soccer athlete could touch a top NFL athlete. Do you realize how freakin strong, explosive and fast a guy like AP is? None of the soccer guys (I think) are in his class.

Listen, this past Sunday, a guy at the bar said the same thing that G1 just said, and I'll tell you both exactly what I told him.

Comparing who's the better athlete between a soccer player and NFL players is like comparing apples to oranges. They specialize in different sports which demand completely different areas of athleticism. One requires strength and short bursts, while the other one requires speed, endurance and agility.

It's like saying who's a better athlete? Usain Bolt or Mo Farah? It's retarded to even compare the two because they are completely different.

I'll tell you what, check this special called Cristiano Ronaldo - Tested To The Limit. You'll walk away amazed at this guy's talent. Not only physically, but mentally. You'll see this guy knock a header in a goal with the lights out. They throw a ball at him, and cut the lights off as soon as the ball is released. He visualizes the ball in the dark and still hits it. The sheer power of his kicks is incredible. Imagine having a soccer ball hit you at 85 mph.

If AP trained to be a soccer player he could do it. He could run around with those guys. He may not be able to kick the ball like they do, he may not be able to handle a soccer ball with his feet like they do, but he could easily hang with them running/ cutting wise. Could any of those soccer guys carry the load during a 16 games season? 300 carries? Getting hammered by 250 LB's that run 4.5? Pass protect? I seriously doubt it. He's a notch above those guys as is many other NFL players are. If this guy in the video took a carry in an NFL game he'd get manhandled and probably hurt.

Re: World Cup

Italians got robbed by the refs with the no call on Suarez. A red card for Marchisio , for nothing for Suarez, who bit Chiellini.

Uruguay's Luis Suarez appears to bite Italy's Giorgio Chiellini - ESPN FC

FIFA needs to suspend him for the rest of the World Cup. Fuck this guy. It's his third incident with biting, and lets not forget his handball that cost Ghana a trip to the semi-final. The guy is a all around piece of shit and has no business in this profession.

After looking at it again, that red card on Marchisio was legit.
