Anyone talked to Ramsey?
Anyone talked to Ramsey or his brother (who made a brief appearance here a few seasons ago)? Haven't seen him talk to the press Rich Eisen or Joe Crisp or anyone. Nothing.
Guess the 2nd stringer always gets the shaft. Don't get me wrong I'm not calling for him to start or anything, just wondering if anyone has heard anything from him lately? We're always 1 play away from him being #1. No comments by coaches, George Michael, Joey T? Anything? He been telegraphing passes at practice?

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
I would like to hear what Ramsey is thinking or feeling right now!
I have always liked and respected his opinion. |

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
that is the difference between coach gibbs and coach spurrier,no dirty laundry in the press.besides,i think p ramsey is a class act.i not sure why no one in this organization has any faith in him.so far he has done everything that has been ask of him.sure,he has his faults, but is still a very young qback in this league

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
I believe Ramsey has the tools to be a good quarterback. I think the only knock on the guy is not being a true team leader, but I believe that comes with time.

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
I've been seeing Ramsey cheering and high-fiving with Brunell right after a good play. He seems pretty content right now and I'm sure he'll probably stick around. I mean really, if you're going to ride the pine elsewhere why not ride the pine with the Skins?

I agree, everytime the camera scans over to Ramsey he is always smiling, high fiving and celebrating. I never see him sulking on the sidelines.

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
I wouldn't stay with the Redskins because of the way he's been treated by this team. There's always been a quick hook for him, even when he was a rookie. He gets the hook from Gibbs before he even has one start for him.
I also thinks there's a good chance he finds a starting job somewhere. The Jets were interested because they thought he could start. He's as good as anyone the Cards have because Warner's almost done. He could even start in Miami. There's plenty of places he could start. There's no chance I'd stay here if I were Ramsey. |

If Ramsey thinks he can be a starter in the league (which I think he can be), he should ask for his release or a trade after the season. The way he's acted throughout his career thusfar, as far as how classy he has been handling poor situations, the Redskins should grant it to him.

Re: Anyone talked to Ramsey?
It's going to be an interesting offseason for QBs. We could see a lot of young QBs looking for a change of scenery on the market. Besides Ramsey, Harrington, Carr, Griese, Simms, Pennington, Boller (ugh!), Schaub, Garrard (I think those two are FA's this offseason) could all be out there. Then you've got Leinart and Young (if he comes out).
