Re: Redskins Off Season things.
Remember when signing the draft picks was an all summer ordeal. Crazy how much the new CBA changed things.

Re: Redskins Off Season things.
Per rotoworld.com:
"ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim believes 2014 third-rounder Spencer Long could be the team's starting right guard in 2015. Long played just six snaps as a rookie, but incumbent Chris Chester was ineffective in 2014. Chester is also due $3.5 million. Per Keim, the coaching staff believes Long "progressed well during the year," and will be a factor this season. He'll get every opportunity to unseat Chester."

Re: Redskins Off Season things.
espn reporter john keim posted an answer about projected OL startin lineup in response to a reader question also stating "ask me again in august after we've seen them play" and then rotoworld decided to post it as a factual piece.

Re: Redskins Off Season things.
In other words this means jack shit.
If Long beats out Chester it will be based on training camp performance, not what Long was able to do throughout last year.

RG3 excited for offense that will be catered to his abilities | Comcast SportsNet Washington
An article re a new RG3 interview. I think RG3 is a great person. I think his concern for others, wanting to be polite, his drive to succeed etc. is genuine. I say that, to say this: Can you keep Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers out of your mouth. You keep referencing yourself and your situation to theirs ... “The more familiarity you can have with the coaches, the system, the better,” Griffin said. “You see the Tom Bradys, the Aaron Rodgers, the Peyton Mannings of this league, [they’ve had] the same coaches, the same system and they can grow within that system—and that’s what we’re looking to build. We definitely feel that that’s something we want to do, obviously, because we want to be successful for a long time.” RG3, it is going to take more than "familiarity" for you to become Brady, Manning or Rodgers. Im am nit-picking on him to a good degree here bc what he says is innocent and true. RG3 also dropped another inspirational quote: He added: “You continue to water that Chinese bamboo and chop up that wood. We’re looking forward to allowing that tree to sprout up.” A good quote from him: "You listen to your coaches and work on the things they want you to work on. You become a better and better player.” --------------------------------------- basically just a say-nothing-new summer time article. |

That said, if he gets it together and plays well he can say anything he wants. Hell I might even buy a no pressure no diamonds T shirt
