Re: Redskins Cowboys post game

I gave it to Breeland for shutting Dez down, but any of those guys deserve it

Two wins in a row. First winning streak since 2012. Feels weird.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game

This could be the turning point of this season.

Our D hasn't been able to do anything because we couldn't trust the DBs in coverage and we can't get pressure without blitzing, now with Breeland playing the way he is we might have a legit D. Keep the TOs coming

Our O has been ok all year, with the exception of the Cousins Turnover Machine. DJax is a monster, Reed is looking good, Alfmo may have fixed whatever funk he was in, and with RG3 back, we may continue to improve.

Special Teams has been improving over the past few weeks honestly, and they played a mistake free game tonight. Kia is on fire, if he can keep it up he will keep us in games.

3-5, we've comeback from worse.

Breeland definitely (and I eat some crow for saying he was basically a scrub. Anyone that can hang with Dez is legit)

but honorable mention goes to Meriweather. I've called for his head since last season but for the first time in a long time (maybe ever) dude played LIGHTS OUT. How many forced fumbles did he have? 2? 2 sacks? A fumble recovery? He was great.

Might be the only game I'll ever do this, but I gotta give it to Haslett. They had no answer for the zero blitz. Great game played, I don't know how the rest of this season will play out but for one night I'm going to enjoy it.

Breeland.

I'd give Haslett credit if I thought this would teach him to rush others like this, but we see this from him against Romo all the time. He'll do prevent all next week.

But Breeland and Amerson kept the WR's covered. I'd give them each a ball.

Breeland, clearly, then Merriweather. OK, Hazlett, too (can't believe I said that).

How about the O-line keeping McCoy clean? Who would have thought that?

2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, adding him to the poll.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game

Hey, I don't know that this will turn into a playoff run or anything; but enjoy this. As a Skins' fan, this is a feeling we don't get often. What an AWESOME game. So tense, just to go in there and beat them was awesome. So pumped. Even if we can turn this into a 7-9 or 8-8 type season from here, this really could be a big point for Gruden. I know we won last week, but this really seemed like the first time since the Eagles game that these guys just came out and BATTLED. By the end of it I just wanted the game so bad for the players. Doesn't happen often, but great night to be a Redskins fan.

Game ball though, it's Breeland. Don't even think its close. McCoy did his job, and I'm very happy for him, but Breeland was great.

Re: Redskins Cowboys post game

Breeland balled out. I like the Amerson Breeland combo. I still expect some growing pains throughout the year, but Breeland gets the game ball tonight. Trent Murphy looked good for his first nfl start.
Offense worried me with all the "almost" fumbles.I thought that was going to be an issue, but turned out alright. Just a little concerning. Overall though....the beer tasted better tonight than it has in a while.

Breeland . . . No brainer.

Shoutout to Reilly, he doesn't deserve to be on this list, but he played much better tonight.
