It remains to be seen ...

Driving and listening to Sirius NFL, one announcer - in talking about the Philly o-line - said "it remains to be seen whether the Philly oline can execute Chip Kelly's offense" (or something like that about Philly), and I have heard that phrase repeatedly for the last month. It sums up this point of the off-season perfectly. So what, in your opinions, Remains to be seen - either about the Redskins, or another team, or even the general NFL season. Here are 5 of mine.

#5 - It remains to be seen how NFL defensive coordinators will defend the zone-read offense
#4 - It remains to be seen how the new RB spearing rule will impact games
#3 - It remains to be seen if the Ravens LB's and defense can find a new leader
#2 - It remains to be seen if Sean Payton can re-spark the NO Saints.

and of course, for all Redskins fans there really is only one #1 it remains to be seen-

#1 - It remains to be seen if Griffin is protected/protects himself better.

Re: It remains to be seen ...

I would broaden the question about Kelly: Can he successfully make the transition from college or is he just another coach in the mold of Petrino, Spurrier, etc.?

Another question: can the Texans finally put it all together this year?

Re: It remains to be seen ...

Cool. I'mma do the NFC East version...

Philadelphia Eagles
- It remains to be seen if the Philadelphia Eagles' new-look secondary provides improvement over the departed, Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

- It remains to be seen if Chip Kelly's zone read offense takes enough pass rushing heat off Michael Vick to allow him to make smarter decisions with the ball.

- It remains to be seen whether the Eagles' offensive line is athletic enough for Kelly's scheme.

Dallas Cowboys
- It remains to be seen if Dallas can protect Tony Romo well enough for him to stay healthy this year.

- It remains to be seen if Dallas' game management improves with Bill Callahan calling the plays and Jason Garrett managing the clock.

- It STILL remains to be seen if Tony Romo can win a big game

New York Giants
- It remains to be seen if New York can develop enough of a running attack with Ahmad Bradshaw gone.

- It remains to be seen if New York can generate an adequate pass rush with Jason Pierre Paul coming back from back surgery and with other pass rushers getting older.

- It remains to be seen whether Eli Manning or Robert Griffin III will take the mantle of best NFC East QB this season.

Washington Redskins
- It remains to be seen if players returning from injury can move this team forward or if they'll step backward. Brandon Meriweather and Brian Orakpo in particular could make a huge impact.

- It remains to be seen if Washington adds new wrinkles to the offense to take advantage of a developing Robert Griffin III, or if the zone-read remains a key staple.

- It remains to be seen if RG3 can come back healthy or suffer a setback.

- It remains to be seen if Alfred Morris will do as well now that defenses are fully aware of his presence on the field.

- It remains to be seen if this team has the character, intestinal fortitude, and healthy athletic arrogance to battle with the big boys and contend for the Super Bowl.

Re: It remains to be seen ...

It remains to be seen if:

- The Texans can finally make the step from playoff team to super bowl contender.
- If Matt Schaub is the answer for the Texans
- The raiders are no longer that team that fires their head coaches within 1-2 years.
- Gronkowski will ever be a 16/16 player again
- Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will continue playing this great and for the next 4 years.
- Rex Ryan or Mark Sanchez leaves the Jets first
- The NFC East champion from the previous season can repeat the next season
- Romo is a top 10 QB?
- Any other team besides the Bengals, Ravens, Cowboys, Dolphins, Jaguars, and Chiefs will do Hard Knocks.
- If Chip Kelly can continue the trend of college coaches having success in the NFL.
- Percy Harvin can stay healthy.
- Who the second best team is in the NFC North.
- Ryan Tannehill can be as good or better than Russell Wilson
- The Falcons can go on a similar super bowl run of winning one for their Ray Lewis aka Tony Gonzalez.
- the Redskins win a playoff game under Mike Shanahan
- RG3 can stay healthy and play a full season
- Kirk Cousins will be traded after this season
- Garcon is a really good number 2 WR or a true number 1 WR
- London Fletcher will miss a game
- Kerrigan can consistently get to the QB without Orakpo
- Amerson can stop getting beat
- Phillip Thomas can adjust to the speed of the NFL
- Rambo will be the next late round secondary steal (Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Antonie Bethea, Cortland Finnegan to name a few)
- Brandon Jenkins will be that potential first round talent he was coming into last season, or just another late round backup.
-Jawan Jamison and Chris Thompson can stay healthy and be the next great RBs drafted by Shanahan.
- Jordan Reed can be our Hernandez, or better..

It remains to be seen If Cam Newton can actually lead a team to a winning record. (I say yes)

If Miami can compete in the East.

If geno Smith will start early in the season.

Can Atlanta finally make that leap to the super bowl?

Will the lions show up already?

Will AD break the record?

And finally will the redskins have back to back playoff seasons?

Re: It remains to be seen ...

It remains to be seen if SmootSmack actually gives this thread some thought.

It remains to be seen if the new blood at safety can outperform what we had last year. (Im sure they will easily be better after developing, but this year...)

It remains to be seen if the maturity finally being shown by some of the younger players continues or if they regress.

It remains to be seen if RG3 will see the out of bounds line as a good thing to cross instead of a bad thing.

It remains to be seen if the Redskins sod the field when necessary.

Re: It remains to be seen ...

It remains to be seen if the NFL superpowers of the last five years can hang on. Seattle and San Francisco are just getting started and Green Bay isn't going anywhere. But teams like New England, Denver, Baltimore, New York Giants, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh all have to answer some MAJOR questions which I think aren't getting asked in deference to how good those organizations have been in the last five years.

If the traditional superpowers are mediocre this year, it throws everything out of whack to the point where even the teams we are writing off at the moment due to lack of talent (Buffalo, San Diego, Kansas City etc) become interesting parts of the playoff puzzle.

It remains to be seen if Alfred Morris or RG3 have sophomore slumps.

It remains to be seen if a quality RT emerges.

It remains to be seen how much Keith Burns improves the special teams.

It remains to be seen if a quality KR emerges.

It remains to be seen what the training camp attendance will be like in Richmond, Virginia.

It remains to be seen how satisfied spectators will be when they are in their limited view seats.

It remains to be seen how much [valuable] crap will be left at the gate entrances since the NFL has limited what fans can bring into the stadiums.

It remains to be seen if Cousins is the real deal.

It remains to be seen if violators of the league's substance abuse policy can stay clean.

It remains to be seen if my wife can live without reality TV.

Re: It remains to be seen ...

It remains to be seen if Michael Vick has anything left in the tank

It remains to be seen if Jason Garrett will last the season as HC of the Cowboys

It remains to be seen if any of the rookie sensation QBs will endure a sophomore slump

It remains to be seen if Andy Reid can maximize the talent in KC

It remains to be seen if the Vikings can continue to thrive without solid QB play

It remains to be seen if I can think of more of these

Going by recent comments from Mike & Kyle I'd say yeah it's here to stay.

Question is how much will they use it. Mike seemed to hint maybe only a few times a game.
