Thanksgiving Day Reflection - in Jurrah World
I was fortunate enough to attend Thursday's game and have a field pass and access to the Miller Lite Club (behind the Cowboy bench at field level). What a GREAT day it was.
A few observations: 1. Jurrah world is a pretty cool place. Other than the fact it is the Cowpuke home, it truly is an incredible place. 2. During pregame warmups, you could sense the Skins were beaming with confidence. I was one of about 20-25 Redskin fans on the field and on numerous occasions players would run by me and acknowledge my fist pumping with a confident head nod, smile and or fist pump of their own. D Hall, Baker, Garcon, Lorenzo Alexander, London were all noticeably fired up and ready to go. My buddy who is a Cowboy fan commented on his players looking like they were asleep and not bouncing around like the Skins players. Clearly this showed up in the game during the 2nd quarter. 3. There were a shitload of Redskin fans in the house! The RGIII chants at the end of the half were really pissing off the Cowboy fans. 4. The Cowboy fans are really pretty cool, at least in the Miller Lite Club where you have to have some coin to get in. I was only told one time by the security dude to remember where I was and to be careful about midway through the 2nd quarter HAHAHAHAH! Here are a few pics: Overall it was a FANTASTIC day! I already have tickets for next years game, with the same access. Hopefully we will get another epic win in Dallas! Love the direction this team is going! HTTR!!!

pretty cool. I know a couple people that went to the skins game last year at Jerry World and said it was very impressive.

Thanks for sharing the pics! You got to attend a hell of a game in my opinion. RGIII's opening act for all the world to see on Thanksgiving day.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Reflection - in Jurrah World
I feel like we give Dallass too much credit for being RG3's "opening night" His opening night was in New Orleans earlier this year, and it was awesome.
Sure it's Thanksgiving, but it's not like people haven't seen RG3 before this. This was more like a homecoming, but only because he went to Baylor. Good on the Cowgirls and Jerry building a great stadium, but they are not special in anyway other than our taking a little extra pleasure beating them as a historical rival. |

It was nice to embarrass the Cowboys stat wise and on national tv. I called almost every INT. I told my son-in-law who is a Dallas fan, everytime Dallas is behind and its late Romo is good for trying to do too much and will throw INT's. |

And the OP's story is cool and I appreciate him and the others that post what it's like being at some games. Just always hated the extra attention the Cowgirls get on Thanksgiving. |

Cool Stuff....
In light of the events of the day, you're fortunate to be alive. After all they did, like beat up Santa Claus and Chief Zee.....right? Hmmmmm.....maybe that was Philly? .....Oh well, same thing..... RG3 chant was Awesome!
