The Bus on the bench?

Bettis is being give a rest following the best football of his recent career to make way for a fit Staley?

Personnally I would prefer to be facing the Deuce than the Bus..

I'd rather face Staley as well. I think Staley is a better all around back, but we have shown we can stop the basic run; most of the time. Bettis is just one of those guys that will just wear and wear and wear on a defense and eventually start gaining like chunks of 10 all the time. Whereas Staley; could do the same thing, but its not as likley.

With Staley starting, it could give an early edge to the Redskins. Bettis can punish defensive lines often wearing them down. Staley is a good back but I believe we can shut him down. If the Skins can get some points early we'll roll the Steelers. If not it'll be a close one. Skins by 11. Line is now Steelers by 11.

I disagree, staley always kicked our ass as an eagle, seems like he had his best games against us,the bus doesnt impress me,he gets his yds on huge holes the off line opens up for him and he's no threat out of the backfield unlike staley

htown is right, Staley always seemed to play well against us.

Bettis or Staley, pick your poision. They're both quality backs.

Im actually more scared of Randle-El than Burris. He's the guy that I think could be the factor to light us up. He's so #(*ing fast!

***BREAKING NEWS ****

From ESPN Countdown, they said Staley was inactivated because of wet conditions and Bettis will get the start for Pittsburgh.
