Would you take McNabb?

With all the rumors spreading around that the Eagles may have to trade McNabb to shore up cap space and take care of some of their glaring needs on the defensive side, would you as a Redskins fan be satisfied with us possibly being involved with a trade for McNabb?

I thought Reid already said McNabb will be back in 2010?

Re: Would you take McNabb?

McNabb is too old to be worth giving up much for in a trade, and i doubt the eagles would trade him to us anyways. if he were a free agent, we should pounce on him.

I'm personally hoping Tom Brady or Peyton Manning decide to let their contracts expire and become free agents after this season... although theres about a 0.00001% chance of that happening.

Re: Would you take McNabb?

I guess McNabb could always be traded for the right price, but I wouldn't want to give up the picks it would take to get him.

only take him if we remove campbell and are grooming bradford or clausen. One, two years, and gone.

Re: Would you take McNabb?

I wouldn't. Eagles would only give him up for a high price... and that price (especially in a divisional trade) would certainly not be worth it. Makes no sense.

Re: Would you take McNabb?

In a uncapped year why would the eagles worry about his contract? There is a reason that he is optioned to stay next year. Its the last year of his contract in a non capped year. NO CAP, NO CAP SPACE, NO CAP RAMIFICATIONS- Invalid argument!!

Re: Would you take McNabb?

The Eagles don't need to trade McNabb to shore up cap space. Whoever started that rumor is mistaken. The Eagles might trade McNabb, though I think Kolb is more likely, to add some defensive help if they feel that's the last piece they need to get Reid and McNabb that elusive ring.

And no I wouldn't trade for him.

Re: Would you take McNabb?

I would take McNabb for the right price. The Eagles need to dump him already. They've had to many chances and never made it over the final hump. I'm not in anyway blaming McNabb because Philly has always had average offensive players.

To answer your question would I take him, yes I'd take him but I would not trade for him. The Eagles would never trade him to us anyway as long as Andy Reid is their coach. I question McNabb's decision making anymore, some of his problem could be his supporting cast, and the fact he's been mssing more than 50% of his offense in the absence of Westbrook.
